Earth Truck (2024)
trans-concreto / sub-concreto
A concrete mixer truck translated into locally sourced clay and silt from a construction site at Elterleinplatz in Vienna. The sculpture is constructed from unfired material and is conceived as a self-recycling form: over the course of its presentation, it gradually disintegrates through exposure to weather conditions, particularly rainfall, returning to its original state as earth.

The work engages with processes of transformation, material cycles, and the temporality of built forms, shifting a symbol of construction into one of erosion and reabsorption.
Presented as part of the Klima Biennale Wien 2024 (Nordwestbahnstraße), the sculpture remains in a constant state of change throughout the exhibition. Its form evolves over time, inviting viewers to observe its gradual dissolution and the interplay between material, environment, and duration.
